Augmented reality adds a new dimension to the interaction   between the real world and digital devices. 

Artificial, digital, 3D objects are incorporated in real time, into the existing environment enabling user interaction. Augmented reality Applications use the device’s GPS to track the user’s position, use the compass to track the device’s orientation and the camera to capture the surrounding space.

The aim is the interaction with the environment, through the information about each object that we observe and the creation of a unique experience for the user. 

This results to the real-time addition of virtual data and informationregarding the specific image.
